Take An Early Look At Road Defender, Coming To PC

Above is a preview video of Road Defender, developed by Part12 Studios, which will be coming to Kickstarter soon. This game is best described as a post apocalyptic convoy survival game.

You are tasked to escape the wasteland while defending your convoy from waves of attacks by your enemies. You are the eye in the sky, and command the vehicle convoy from the seat of your hovering gyro-copter.

As you progress you will arrive at colonies, here you’ll have a chance to use collected scrap or fuel to buy, upgrade, and repair your vehicles. Part12 Studios is focused very much on achieving an 1980’s futuristic theme and atmosphere, they are creating all music within the game using instruments and effects that predate the story’s 1996 setting for instance.
