Street Tuning Evolution Comes To Kickstarter
Street Tuning Evolution, developed by Invictus Games & Street Legal Mods, is a game that “provides as much emphasis on building and tuning your cars, as racing your cars.”
At the time of writing the PC racer has reached 8% ($12,491) of its kickstarter goal and is trending toward 50% of its total goal of $150,000 (with 51 days to go).
Street Tuning Evolution provides you with an open-world map for you to do as you wish, you can race both on the streets and on a circuit. You can race for money or pinks (racing for each other’s cars). There’s drag, road and street racing, as well as drifting to keep you busy. A cool feature of the game lets you decide if you want to fix the whole car (when damaged) or just parts of it to save money.
The physics is where this game really goes to town, expect vehicles to be constructed from more than 50 individual parts, with complete body deformation with flapping vehicles parts, your vehicles can even fall apart in crashes or over time.
Below is a video of an older game (Street Legal Racing Redline/Street Legal Racing 2) by the same developers which shows the level of detail these guys go to in the garage mechanics.
This then seems like the ultimate petrol head’s game, I’ll be sure to keep an eye on this one and share with you the latest snippets of news, for now why not check out Kickstarter for more on Street Tuning Evolution.
