Project CARS Release Date Is May 8, Guaranteed

It’s coming for real this time, no backing out now.
Not long after we all found out that Project CARS ‘went gold’, publishers Bandai Namco UK have just confirmed via twitter that the much-anticipated racer from Slightly Mad Studios will officially release on May 8.
This date is slightly earlier than the general mid-May date that was previously given, although recently there were strong rumours of a release in early May, these ofcourse turned out to be true.
Bandai Namco state that the release date is guaranteed, so it’s definitely happening this time. This will come as a great relief to fans as some were fearing yet another delay after the suffering the three previous ones. Here’s the actual tweet from Bandai Namco UK;

I can only assume that this release date will be true for all regions in the world as previous dates have been for same-day worldwide releases. Despite this fantastic announcement there is still no news on the Wii U version of the game, I imagine now that news will trickle out after the game’s release on the Playstation 4, Xbox One and PC platforms.
Are you now more excited than ever for Project CARS? were you happy to wait out the extra time for a superior finished product? Project CARS will be coming to the Playstation 4, Xbox One and PC on May 8, and (hopefully) some time in 2015 for the Wii U. For more on Project CARS check out the official site.
