Mario Kart 8 Reaches Impressive Sales Of 1.7 Million In U.S. Alone

Nintendo’s flagship racing game Mario Kart 8 has sold an impressive total of just over 1.7 million units in the United States alone during the year of 2014.
These figures were recently announced by Nintendo following the report from the NPD Group. The figures include both physical and digital sales of the game.
Mario Kart 8 out-sold Super Smash Bros in the U.S. by almost half a million units, but then the latter did come out in late November!
