The recently released Storm Island DLC for Forza Horizon 2, which included extreme weather has caused a number of issues including crashes, events failing to appear, and more.

Microsoft, last Friday, acknowledged the many problems and have promised to fix them. Forza Horizon 2 developer Turn 10 Studios are currently working on a patch that should fix the issues. Turn 10 recently said: “Thank you for your patience and understanding while we investigated the problems. Your feedback on the forums has been invaluable in helping to pinpoint the causes of these issues.”

The update fix is expected some time next week according to Microsoft. Below are a list of bugs that need sorting out:

  • Car Meets not unlocking, meaning access to Storm Island is blocked.
  • Game crashes when player launches game in the Storm Island hub.
  • No new events appearing after installing Storm Island DLC.
