F-Zero: GP Legend has arrived on the Wii U Virtual Console in Europe recently.

F-Zero: GP Legend originally released on the Game Boy Advance back in 2003 in Japan, and 2004 elsewhere.

This slice of retro goodness plays similar to the F-Zero game released on the Super Nintendo. In F-Zero you can use a boost to gain a speed burst at the cost of energy, you must replenish your energy by entering pit areas found on the race circuit.

The game features 34 playable characters in all. The story-driven campaign leads you through a series of futuristic races across the diverse environments of many different planets. F-Zero: GP Legend is available for the price of €6.99 / £6.29.
