Finnish game developer Umber Games today launched their top-down mobile racer Cava Racing for Android devices.

In Cava Racing you take on the role of a space pilot, whose goal is to get the best lap times possible on six different tracks.

To succeed you’ll need to get your racing lines correct, and time your boost well. You can aid your quest with barrels, health kits and teleports. As you progress you’ll unlock faster and more challenging ships which up the ante.

Umber Games says “The physics are similar to old classics like Asteroids, Maelstorm, Gravitar and Thrust, but the rotating world and accurate controls give a unique twist to the gameplay”.
